Nothing Shall Ever Tear Us Asunder
I am a very proud brother of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. I
joined the Zeta Gamma Chapter at the University of North Dakota in the fall of
1999 just one week after I moved to Grand Forks, North Dakota. I moved
into the fraternity house that December before leaving for Christmas. I
lived in room 13 on the second floor for two years. During 2001 I was the
Warden, the officer who instructs the pledges on the lessons of the
fraternity. That May my father, Frank Granstrom, became a member of the
Zeta Gamma Chapter as an Alumni Initiate of the fraternity. During the
fall of 2001 I was elected Archon (President) of the Chapter. I graduated
in May of 2002 with a B.A. in History and enrolled in History Graduate School so
that I could fulfill my term as Archon.
I founded an online community website for all members of Pi
Kappa Phi in the fall of 2002 with the help of my friend and fellow fraternity
brother Mike Sutehall.
As an alumnus I have stayed involved in Pi Kappa Phi both by attending Zeta Gamma as well as National Pi Kappa Phi events.
